The action of a body falling is at once a public and internal witnessing of the self. Within the experience of a physical fall there is usually a delay of thought and action. These text-based work propose an instruction. The works harness language, voice, gesture and object in an effort to communicate a palpable physicality which is associated with falling and gesture more broadly. The metal is heavy, and the frame tilted off the wall, built to help the words loudly whisper.
